Eros Acquires SRK’s Raees

Bollywood Baadshah Sharukh Khan has been busy with multiple projects currently and he is shooting for his upcoming release Dilwale in the direction of Rohit Shetty. Sharukh has teamed up with Kajol after an enough gap and the movie has been slated for release in December this year. Sharukh’s next project Raees is a huge sensation after the release of the first look teaser. Sharukh has been seen completely in a new and different look for the film with thick beard and glasses. The movie deals about the liquor mafia and the movie has been slated for release for Eid next year.

Rahul Dholakia is directing the film and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is playing the female lead in the movie. As per the latest update, the theatrical rights of the movie have been acquired by Eros International for a whopping price. As the distribution house has a vast reach in US and UK markets, the makers have taken this decision. Raees is being produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Gauri Khan on Excel Entertainments and Red Chillies Entertainments. Raees has been slated for a massive release for Eid next year and the movie will clash with Salman Khan’s upcoming release Sultan.
