Gabbar Is Back Story
Aditya (Akshay Kumar) is a Professor who has a secret life as Gabbar who is vigilant. He kidnaps government officials like tehsildars, cops, collectors etc. Out of them he has a habit of hanging the most corrupted in public so as to eradicate corruption from the country. But a local builder (Suman Talwar) is against Gabbar’s attempt to clean the society and won’t let his ‘Swacch Abhiyan’ be a success. The rest of the film is about how Gabbar fights against the evil in the society. Watch the film to know about the rest.
Gabbar Is Back Analysis :
The first half of the film has been racy with power packed action episodes and powerful dialogues which make the audience stick to their seats and watch the film interesting. On the whole the first half of the movie has been gripping and sensible enough.
The second half of Gabbar Is Back has dipped at times but the accident sequences have been managed well. The songs have been poorly shot which makes the film fall at times. But the climax of the movie elevates the film which makes it a decent watch.
Gabbar Is Back Performance :
Akshay Kumar has been overshadowed enough and his character has been written well enough. He has carried the film completely on his shoulders and the film is Akshay’s show from first till the end. Sruthi Haasan has nothing much to do but she has been terrific with her screen presence in the limited scenes offered. Chitrangada Singh and Kareena Kapoor have been decent in the songs. All others have done a decent job for their offered characters.
The story of the movie has been quite gripping and interesting all over. The screenplay of the movie dips at times but on the whole it has been impressive. The dialogues of the film deserve a special mention as they have been sensible as well aas thought provoking. The editing and the music have been decent. The cinematography and the production values have been grand enough. The director handled the movie with utmost care and he has been successful in bringing a decent entertainer.
Final Word:
Gabbar Is Back is an out and out commercial film with all the masala needed. The gripping screenplay and the dialogues along with some emotional climax make the movie a must watch.
