Advocate Anuradha Verma (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is a famous lawyer in Mumbai who has 100% success rate. She has never lost a case in her career and this divorced woman stays with her daughter Saanaya (Sara Arjun). Her daughter gets kidnapped by an unknown who asks to deal with a case and get the convicted to be released. Jazbaa starts with the narration of the life style of advocate Anuradha Verma (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). The movie gets interesting after her daughter gets kidnapped and the suspense has been maintained throughout. Though some of the scenes seem stretched, the crisp run time makes the first half end decent.

After an impressive first half, the second half maintains the pace even nothing much will be revealed till the last half of the movie. The movie gets quite interesting during the pre climax episodes and Aishwarya Rai’s performance and Irrfan Khan’s presence take the film to the next level. The climax twist has been interesting which makes the second half end up on a decent note.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan makes a perfect comeback with Jazbaa and she never seems to have made her re entry. She has been stunning throughout the film and performed to the peaks. She has been perfect as advocate Anuradha Verma in the movie. Irrfan Khan who is known for his stupendous performance has come out with one more outstanding role in the movie as Yohaan. Shabana Azmi has been decent as serious mother and all the other actors have delivered out their best.

The story of the movie has been short and crisp enough. The screenplay and the dialogues have been written well which changes the game completely. The cinematography and the music are the additional assets of the movie. The production values have been grand enough and Sanjay Gupta has been completely successful in bringing out a film that has been interesting till the last frame.

Jazbaa is a perfect comeback film for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the movie maintains the thrill till the last frame. Jazbaa is a decent one time watcher.
