Main Aur Charles Analysis :
The movie has an engaging concept and keeps the audience interesting throughout. The first half of the film has been narrated well but the movie discusses too many things in a less duration which will sure strain the audience. On the whole the first half has been decent throughout with all the needed elements.
The second half of the film dips down at parts and makes the audience bored. But the movie has interesting episodes in the second half which elevate the film well. Randeep Hooda should be well appreciated for carrying the film completely with his performance. On the whole the second half of the movie is just ok and will appeal to a selected class of audience.
Main Aur Charles Performance :
Randeep Hooda is undoubtedly the main asset for the movie. He has excelled in the character of Charles Shobraj. Though initially his accent has been not convincing, as time passes the audience will fall in love with his body language and accent along with his thunderous performance. Adil Hussain is the other pillar of the movie as Amod Kanth. He has delivered out his best for the movie and some of the scenes have been completely shaking because of his performance. Richa Chadda as Meera Sharma will leave you stunning and her character has been written well. All the other actors have done their best.
The story of the movie is about the life of Charles Shobraj who rose to fame in 80s because of his cruel acts. The screenplay has been quite confusing at times and it will sure leave your brain in strain. The dialogues have been written well and the music has been apt. The background score and the cinematography are the highlights of the film. The production values have been grand enough and the director has done a decent job in narrating an interesting plot.
Final Word:
Main Aur Charles has the potential but the confusing narration keeps it down. The movie can be given a shot for the stupendous performance of Randeep Hooda and Adil Hussain.
