Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) is a Bollywood Superstar and he has fans across the world. He worked real hard to reach the unbeatable place and Gaurav Chandana (Shah Rukh Khan) is one of his truest and die hard fan. He aspires of meeting him on his birthday but fails to meet his dream idol. Hence he chooses the other way to meet the Superstar which disturbs Aryan Khanna. He decides to teach him a lesson which hurts Gaurav. With this unexpected twirl, Gaurav turns against the Superstar and he decides to damage the image and respect earned by the Superstar. The first half of the film starts with the introduction of Aryan Khanna and Gaurav Chandana which brings a good clarity on their characters. Gaurav’s performance in his colony as Aryan Khanna is sure an impressive show after which the film moves on to the original plot. An unexpected incident changes the pace of the film and the complete first half has been well executed. One should have guts to sign a film like Fan and the other big thing is balancing the entire film with his outstanding performance. SRK does this again and the complete first half has been entertaining and interesting.

The second half of Fan has its emotional and destructive side. The most interesting thing is that the audience will be left amazed and entertained at the same time. You will be laughing with tears and the complete auditorium has been left with pin drop silence throughout the second half. The action episodes have been racy and top notch. The screenplay has been gripping enough and the pre interval episodes make the movie sit on the peaks. Though the climax has been dragged and disturbed, the entire second half of Fan has been outstanding.

On the whole, Fan has been intriguing and interesting, realistic and egoistic, destructive and obsessive,fun filled and power packed, crooked and well knocked, emotional and exceptional, fascinating and heart touching.

Shah Rukh Khan has been stupendous as Aryan Khanna and Gaurav Chandana. The biggest challenge for the actor is to balance the film well with his performance in two completely different roles and he succeeded in reaching the expectations. He carried the complete film and he even dominated in each and every episode as the movie has no commercial aspects. All the other actors have delivered out their best in the assigned supporting roles.

The story of Fan has been thin enough and it has been revealed along with the theatrical trailer. The screenplay has been completely gripping and well written. The characters have been well framed and well balanced. The movie has no songs and the background score is an asset of Fan. The cinematography projected the entire film in the right needed frame and the production values have been lavish and rich enough. Maneesh Sharma should have a special mention for his outstanding direction and gripping narration.

Final Word:

Fan will sure reach the expectations and SRK is back with his destructive performance throughout the film.If you ignore the climax, Fan is a must watch film which is completely racy and nail biting.
