South Indian Superstar Kamal Haasan is one of the most talented actors of Indian cinema. With many back to back films in hand, the actor wrapped up the shoot of his next movie Vishwaroopam 2. The movie is the sequel for 2013 blockbuster Vishwaroopam and is directed by Kamal himself. After the first instalment received critical acclaim, Aascar Ravichandran joined hands with Kamal for the film however the movie has been kept on hold due to financial issues.

Now the latest update is that the post-production work of the film has been revived recently and is running on fast pace. A team is working on the sound design in Los Angeles and another team is busy with the re-recording and the dubbing work. Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Rahul Bose played the lead roles in the movie and Ghibran is composing the music. Produced by Kamal Haasan and Aascar Ravichandran, Vishwaroopam 2 will release during the end of this year.
