Deepika : The Queen of 100 Crore Films

Deepika Padukone has impressed everyone with her performance as well as with her glamour and she has now emerged as the top actress in Bollywood. The actress has tasted success with her first movie Om Shanti Om. Not sticking to commercial movies, Deepika has done challenges like Cocktail which got her very good recognition. Deepika revealed that Cocktail is one of the most difficult characters played by her. Right after Cocktail she has given a visual treat to her fans with Race 2 which crossed 100 crore mark. Deepika has switched to a cute love story Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani which was a huge blockbuster and collected over 200 crores.

Deepika has then acted again with Sharukh in Chennai Express after Om Shanti Om and the movie emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood hit films. The film set new records and Deepika has been seen as a South Indian girl. Then came Ram Leela which bonded her with Ranveer along with a huge hit that collected some superb money at the box-office. Deepika has been recently seen in Sharukh’s Happy New Year which crossed 100 crore mark in just three days. The movie has vanished many existing records and is collecting great money at the box-office. Deepika has turned out her name to ‘The Queen of 100 Crore Films’ as no other heroine had many movies that crossed 100 crores.
