Manmadhudu 2 Analysis :
Manmadhudu 2 is no way near to the masterpiece Manmadhudu. The film starts on a decent note and it is the entertainment that moves the film further. The characters are loosely penned and make no sense. They leave the audience confused. The songs are soothing to hear and they are canned well. The first half of Manmadhudu 2 is passable and makes a decent watch. The production values and the background score are the major strengths.
The second half of Manmadhudu 2 is a huge misfire. Except for some rib-tickling entertainment from Vennela Kishore, the second half of Manmadhudu 2 offers nothing. Once again, the songs have been decent and bring fresh breath. The last twenty minutes of Manmadhudu 2 looks decent and the production values make the film look grand. On the whole, the second half of Manmadhudu 2 makes no sense and makes the film fall flat.
Manmadhudu 2 Performance :
Nagarjuna tops the show with his flawless performance. He looks amazing as a playboy in his role and his screen presence has been top-notch. He fits well in the role of Sam. Rakul Preet Singh is sure the other highlight of Manmadhudu 2. Her stunning glamorous show will impress all the sections and Rakul transformed herself well for the role of Avanthika. Vennela Kishore is the major support for the film and his comic timing has been top-notch. Rao Ramesh and Lakshmi have good roles and they did their jobs well. All the other actors did their work well.
Manmadhudu 2 has a pale script and it is the poor narration that makes the film fall flat. The screenplay and dialogues have been poor. The music and the background score are the only saviors of the film. The cinematography work has been top class and each and every frame looks rich. The production values make the film look lavish. Rahul Ravindran fails badly in all the available ways for Manmadhudu 2.
Final Word:
Manmadhudu 2 falls flat as the film offers nothing new and exciting. A film that can be skipped.
