Rakshasudu Analysis :
Rakshasudu has been gripping right from the first frame and is an exact replica of the original. The first half has been engaging, interesting and Bellamkonda Sreenivas makes a strong impact with his powerful performance. The interval episodes look predictable but the first half of Rakshasudu is sure worth watching. The background score and the cinematography work excels throughout the first half.
The second half looks intense and emotional. Though it turns predictable at times, the director manages to keep the audience guessing. The pre-climax episodes should have been interesting and the climax of Rakshasudu looks dragged. It is the performances and the racy narration that takes the film to the next level. The background score once again is the major highlight of Rakshasudu.
Rakshasudu Performance :
Bellamkonda Sreenivas who has been waiting for success gets it finally with Rakshasudu. He looks perfect in the role of the cop and delivers out his best. His episodes with Rajeev Kanakala will be remembered and the duo stepped out with some remarkable performances. Anupama Parameshwaran is a treat to watch in her meaty role. She looked apt as a school teacher. Rajeev Kanakala shines in his role and he carried the film on his shoulders with his emotional presence. All the other actors looked decent.
Rakshasudu is a complete frame to frame adaptation of Tamil blockbuster Ratsasan. The screenplay looks gripping enough and so are the dialogues. The background score by Ghibran is a treat and it elevates the film well. The cinematography work stands out and the production values make the film look grand. Ramesh Varma tops the show and makes his comeback as a director with Rakshasudu.
Final Word:
Bellamkonda Sreenivas delivers his career-best performance in Rakshasudu which is a nailbiting action thriller that can be given a shot this weekend.
