Alia Bhatt in Rock On 2

Rock On has been a sensation in 2008 as the movie went on to become a huge hit and grabbed many awards along with the critical reception. Rock On featured Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal in the main leads. The movie has been produced by Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar on Excel Entertainments banner. The latest news is that a sequel for Rock On is planned and the latest Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt will play the main lead in the movie. The movie will have a new director on cards as per the latest update from the movie makers.

Abhishek Kapoor who directed Rock On will not direct the film as he has lot of commitments. Alia Bhatt has been racing to the top as all her films have been superhits at the box-office. She has been seen in Student Of the Year, 2 States, Highway and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniyia which ended as super hits. Alia Bhatt has immense craze for her cuteness and sensible acting. She is currently busy shooting for Shandaar in the direction of Vikas Bahl and Shahid Kapoor is playing the main lead in the film. Alia Bhatt has already listened to the script of Rock On and given her nod. The movie is in pre production stages and the cast, crew are being finalized. More updates on the movie soon.
