Karan Johar’s Cameo

Karan Johar is one of the finest film makers of Bollywood who owns Dharma Productions. Karan Johar is also a fashion designer and now he is making his debut as an actor with Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. Though he has been seen in a cameo in Sharukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, he has not been seen on screen after that. However, the latest news is that he has done a full length character in Bombay Velvet starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. The latest update is that Karan Johar will do a full length role in Vikas Bahl’s upcoming movie Shandaar.

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are playing the main leads in Shandaar. Karan Johar initially wanted to know about his screen presence in Bombay Velvet and sign films, but Alia Bhatt has taken the responsibility and convinced Karan Johar for an important role in the movie. The movie has completed the first schedule in London and the unit is currently shooting in Mumbai. Shandaar is a movie on destination weddings and it is the first Indian film on this concept. Sanjay Kapoor will be seen in an important role. Shahid’s sister Sanah is making her debut as actress in this film which will release in 2015.
