Deepika to play Rekha

Deepika Padukone turned out herself to be the hottest and happening heroine of Bollywood. She has made many efforts and worked hard to come up to this position. She has done some critically acclaimed films along with complete masala films and balanced her career. Deepika is currently busy with multiple projects and she has hand full of films. As per the latest news, Deepika has been roped in to play the lead role in the remake of 1988 classic Khoon Bhari Maang.

Rekha played the lead role in the original film which has been directed by famous director Rakesh Roshan. The original movie Khoon Bhari Maang is the remake of Australian TV series Return to Eden and the movie is about a rich widow who takes revenge on her lover. Deepika has been very interested in this project and the movie will start soon. Deepika is currently shooting for Piku in the direction of Shoojit Sircar with Amithabh Bachchan and also for Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh in the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
