Bollywood’s Young Superstar has been away from cinema from sometime and his recent movie Roy could not impress the audience. He is now coming with his latest movie Bombay Velvet in the direction of Anurag Kashyap. The movie is set in Mumbai in 1960s and Ranbir will be seen as a gangster in the movie. Anushka Sharma is the heroine in the movie and the theatrical trailer of the movie has been released today. The movie is based on historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables.



The film tells the story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj, and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie, and how their hopes and dreams collide with their individual realities. Famous filmmaker Karan Johar played the baddie in the movie. Anurag Kashyap who is known for his fast pace of filmmaking has taken lot of time to come out with the movie. The theatrical trailer of the movie has been highly impressive and increased the heat on the movie. The film has been produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Productions and Fox Star Studios. Bombay Velvet has been aimed for release on May 15th all over.
