Ranbir Kapoor who shot fame with movies like Rockstar, Barfi and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani could not continue the success with his recent outings. His recent movies Roy and Bombay Velvet ended as the biggest debacles in his career. After an enough gap Ranbir is back with his recent flick Tamasha which has been directed by Imtiaz Ali. The movie is said to be a romantic entertainer and it featured Deepika Padukone in the female lead. The movie released last Friday and  it has been raking huge money across the world.

Tamasha opened with mixed reviews and it collected Rs 10.94 crores on Friday. The multiplexes witnessed huge openings and the movie improved a lot on Saturday and it collected Rs 13.17 crores which is remarkable. Despite of the bad word of mouth Tamasha collected Rs 14.12 crores making the total collections over the weekend Rs 38.23 crores. AR Rahman composed the music and the audio of the movie is already a smash hit. Sajid Nadiadwala produced Tamasha on Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainments banner. Tamasha is expected to collect decent figures by the end of first week.
