Talented actor Akshay Kumar manages to release 3-4 films in an year and he is busy shooting for back to back films. His latest film Airlift is gearing up for release this week and he is shooting for his next film Housefull 3 which will be wrapped up soon. Akshay will then shoot for his next movie Rustom which will be directed by Neeraj Pandey which is said to be a thriller. After wrapping all these films, Akshay will shoot for his next movie which is said to be a remake of Tamil super hit movie Kaththi starring Vijay and Samantha.

The movie will discuss about the problems faced by farmers and AR Murugadoss directed the original version. The movie has been titled as Ikka in Hindi and Jagan, an associate of AR Murugadoss will direct the film. The pre-production work of the film is currently on and the regular shoot of Ikka will start from November. AR Murugadoss will produce the film on AR Murugadoss Films banner along with Fox Star Studios. Akshay earlier worked with AR Murugadoss for Holiday which was a smashing hit all over.
