Airlift Two Weeks Collections

Top actor of Bollywood Akshay Kumar who is always busy with multiple films in his career came up with Airlift which is the first film on him this year. Raja Krishna Menon directed this patriotic drama and the movie released on January 22^nd on the eve of Republic Day weekend.

The movie opened huge and the stupendous word of mouth made the film dominate at the box-office completely over the two weeks. Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur played the lead roles in the film which is about the biggest human evacuation in the world which took place in Kuwait.

Airlift emerged as the highest first week opener of Akshay Kumar in his career and it collected Rs 83.5 crores in seven days which crossed Rowdy Rathore that minted Rs 79.2 crores all over. The movie maintained stability in its second week too all over the world.

 Airlift collected Rs 112.29 crores in two weeks of its box-office run among the domestic circles. Nikhil Advani, Monisha Adwani, Aruna Bhatia, Madhu G Bhojwani, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra produced the movie on Abundantia Entertainments, Cape of Good Films, Emmay Entertainments, Hari Om Entertainments and T Series banners. Airlift has been declared as a huge hit and the movie is expected to end up as the highest grosser among Akshay Kumar’s films.
