Bollywood Young Superstar Ranbir Kapoor has been struggling for success and he has been busy with multiple films in his career. The actor is busy wrapping up Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the direction of Karan Johar and he even gave his nod for a movie which is said to be the biopic of hockey legend Ashok Dhyan Chand. Pooja Shetty and Aarti Shetty acquired the rights about his life story four years ago but the project didnot materialize.

Ranbir has been initially quite interested in the project however there has been no clue about the film now. Karan Johar decided to co-produce the film along with the Shetty sisters and the latest news we hear is that Varun Dhawan has been brought on to the board. Even David Dhawan had a hearing about the script and he is quite excited abou the film.

It was Rohit Jaisingh Vaid who brought the idea of the biopic and he will direct the film. However the makers are not completely confident about his directorial skills and will take a call soon. As of now, Varun Dhawan has been roped for the lead role in the biopic.
