Pink Crosses Rs 50 Cr Mark

Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink released during last week and the movie stood strong because of the stupendous word of mouth. With limited release and after being opened with decent collections, the film picked up gradually and it emerged as a massive hit all over. Aniruddha Roy Chouwdury directed the movie and Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Piyush Mishra and Mamta Shankar essayed the lead roles.

The movie minted Rs 51.12 crores in 10 days of its box-office run. The collections have been quite strong even in its second week and the results of this week releases too helped the film to perform well over the second weekend. The stupendous screenplay along with the performances of the lead actors along with gripping narration made the film stand loud at the box-office. Produced by Rashmi Sharma and Shoojit Sircar, Pink is expected to mint huge money in its final run.
