King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has been eagerly waiting for a massive hit as none of his recent films performed well at the box-office. He pinned lot of hopes on his recent outing titled Raees which released during the Republic Day weekend. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the movie opened to packed houses and it received exceptional response from the audience all over. The movie minted huge money in its first weekend but it failed to hold things strong.

The movie clashed with Hrithik Roshan’s outing Kaabil which released on the same day. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the movie is said to be a romantic entertainer packed with action. Kaabil opened slowly but it managed to stand strong. The movie has been doing decent business all over and the movie is even having decent occupancy during the weekdays. Raees minted Rs 139.21 crores till date while Kaabil collected Rs 121.02 crores. With one more week to perform, we have to wait and see who will emerge as a winner at the box-office.
