Yesteryear actress Rani Mukerji was once the leading and finest actress of Indian cinema. She has been busy with many projects and she was once a part of many blockbusters in her career. The actress fell in love with director and filmmaker Aditya Chopra and after a huge gap, the duo got married in 2014 and the 39-year old actress has been away from films on regular basis. After a cameo in Bombay Talkies, Rani Mukerji came out with Mardaani which released in 2014 and ended up as a smashing hit of the year.

Now after a gap of three years, Rani Mukerji is back with her next movie titled Hichki. The regular shoot of the film started today and the makers announced this officially. Rani Mukerji will play the lead role in Hichki and Siddarth P Malhotra is directing the movie. Aditya Chopra is bankrolling this project on Yash Raj Films banner. Rani Mukerji personally took care of the pre-production work and Hichki is all set for release early next year.
