Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut is known for trashing records and all her recent outings ended up as massive hits all over. The actress stole the hearts of the audience with her flawless performance in Queen after which she scored a massive hit with Tanu Weds Manu Returns. With many films lined up, the actress signed the biopic of warrior queen Jhansi Laxmibhai which has been titled Manikarnika. The movie will be directed by Krish, a Telugu director and the shoot of the film will start next month. The first look along with the logo and the title have been launched last evening in Varanasi.

The movie has been aimed for April 27th release next year and Kangana Ranaut allotted bulk dates for the film. However the update is that the actress will wrap up the shoot of the film at the earliest after which she will turn director. The movie has been titled Simran and is said to be a comedy entertainer. Kangana Ranaut revealed that she is currently penning the script and will reveal about the film soon. Kangana Ranaut said that she is completely focussed on Manikarnika currently which is a challenging film. Made on a massive budget, Manikarnika will produce by Zee Films.
