Singham Returns collects 92 Crores

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Returns' is roaring at the box office as this high octane action entertainer has now collected 92 crores in just four days. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this sequel of 2011 super hit ‘Singham’ features Kareena Kapoor as the female lead. Director turned actor Amole Gupte who played baddie is getting good response for his performance as an evil godman. The film has been released on August 15th on the eve of Independence Day and the collections have been huge as it was a long weekend.

Singham Returns has managed to collect approximately Rs. 30 crores on its Opening Day, out beating the previously released Salman Khan - Jacqueline Fernandez starrerKick that collected Rs. 26.40 crores. With a massive collection like this, Singham Returns has become the Highest Opening Day Grosser of 2014. However, since the weekend still awaits, with Monday being a holiday in certain territories thanks to Gokul Asthami and Parsi New Year celebrations, the film managed to continue its dream run and collected 92 crores in 4 days.
