Why did Katrina reject Bajirao Mastani?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' is a period film based on the legendary love story between Peshwa Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh and his alleged girlfriend Deepika were finalized as the lead pair for this huge project. Now, the latest buzz is that it was Katrina Kaif who was finalized for this film before Deepika but however, Kat opted out of this film for unknown reasons.

Sources say that she opted out after knowing that Ranveer Singh has been roped in for the male lead and they also added that Kat was not interested to work with Ranveer since he was junior compared to her. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this film features Priyanka Chopra as Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai. This film is slated to roll by the end of this year. More updates on this huge project soon.
