Deepika Padukone bags 'Fast & Furious 7'

Just a couple of days back, we reported that B-Town beauty queens Deepika padukone, kangana Ranaut and Chitrangda Singh have auditioned for the seventh installment of the top grossing action thriller franchise - "Fast & Furious". And now the verdict is here!
A little birdie told us that Deepika has apparently cinched the coveted role in the Vin Diesel movie. The actress will play a significant role in the movie that hits the marquee next year. The film will also star Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson.
Currently, the formalities are on and considering Hollywood's professionalism, it might take about 6 months for the contract to come through.
Deepika Padukone was unavailable for comment.
Interestingly, casting agents wanted someone slender and statuesque or 'someone like Deepika Padukone' for the role. Following this brief, she was also the first actress to be auditioned for the highly-awaited “Fast & Furious” next.
