Sri Devi is one actress who got more charming with age. Her performance in English Vinglish was so heart warming that many filmmakers are eager to recreate similar magic in their films. A few ambitious South directors are also considering her daughter Jahnavi, making Sri think about her roots.

One of the script writers, Kona Venkat, had apparently impressed the senior actress so much that Boney Kapoor is seriously considering a bilingual production with Sri Devi as the lead. If everything falls into place, the southern audiences will get to see their favorite actress on the silver screen after ages.

However, her daughter Jahnavi is not planning to give such a treat down South. She is daddy's little princess and Boney Kapoor has plans to launch the youngster in a Bollywood film opposite an established actor. For Jahnavi, her roots are not calling to her yet. Meanwhile, her mother is happily connecting to her roots again.

Kona Venkat of Ready, Dhookudu, Dhee and Baadshah fame, tweeted, “Had the privilege of meeting the lady super star of all times Sreedevi garu and narrated a story for her.. It’s ON !! Boney Kapoor ji will produce this film in 3 languages.. Director & other details will be revealed soon.”
