Kabir Khan’s Film on 1983 Cricket World Cup

Super talented director Kabir Khan has been scoring massive hits over the past few years and his movies Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan ended up as massive hits making his place prominent in the list of top directors. Kabir Khan grabbed an opportunity to direct Salman Khan again in Tubelight and the shoot of the movie is currently in progress. Tubelight has been slated for release during Eid 2017.
Kabir Khan has been in plans to direct a film on Cricket World Cup 1983 however the film has been halted several stages during the scripting stage. Kabir is currently working on the script and the regular shoot of the film will start next year. Several cricketers including Kapil Dev will share their experiences about the world cup and the movie is all about an emotional journey of Indian cricket team. Phantom Films will produce the movie.
