Amitabh debuts on TV!

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan made his small screen debut about a decade ago as a host. It was the turning point for Amitabh's re-entry into films. However, Big B again debuted on the small screen but this time as an actor with serial 'Yudh' which is a product of director Anurag Kashyap.

The first look of Amitabh did impress the television audience but Yudh falls short of grabbing the viewers attention at the first stroke. In this serial, the Senior Bachchan will be seen as Yudhisthir Sikarwar dying of a terminal illness but is uncompromising. Each episode of Yudh costs Rupees 3 crores but wonder, if the makers are able make break-even.

Yudh also has Sarika, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kay Kay Menon in vital roles and is telecast from Monday to Thursday at 10.30pm on Sony.
