It’s the season of sports biopics in Bollywood and the latest entry is the life story of the most successful cricket captain and the most controversial cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. The movie has been made on the basis of some of the controversial things that happened in his life. The movie has been titled as Azhar. 

Top actor Emraan Hashmi played the lead role in the movie as Mohammad Azharuddin in the movie and he has been specially trained under the supervision of Azhar completely. The recently released making video created enough buzz on the movie and the makers have now released the theatrical trailer of the film which will leave everyone in wow.

The theatrical trailer showcased the controversial side of the cricketer and the makers revealed that many unknown facts that happened in the life of Mohammad Azharuddin have been showcased in the film. Mohammad Azharuddin has personally taken care of the script and his inputs helped them alot. Tony D’Souza directed the movie and Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri played the female leads in the movie.

Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta played the other important roles in Azhar which has been produced by Shoba Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, NP Singh and Sneha Rajani on Balaji Motion Pictures, Sony Pictures and Indiana Pictures. The movie will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens on May 13th across the world.
