A R Rahman for Pele‘s Biography

Two time Grammy Award winning musician AR Rahman announced on his official Facebook page that he is composing the music for the upcoming film, 'Pele'. The Mozart of Madras is composing music with international artists for Brazilian Football living legend, Pele's biography. An excited AR Rahman tweeted, "Working with the very Brazilian and very talented lyricist and singer Anna Beatriz, for the movie Pele".

 

The film is directed and written by Jeff Zimbalist and Michael Zimbalist. The film stars Kevin de Paula, Vincent D'Onofrio, Rodrigo Santoro, Diego Boneta and Colm Meaney. The movie was supposed to release around the FIFA World Cup, but the makers have ruled out the possibility by citing the post production works and now they have assured the movie will be out in the first quarter of next year. The ace composer has recently completed composing music for Hollywood projects 'Hundred Foot journey' & 'Million Dollar Arm' this year.
