Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of his next movie in the direction of Shankar which has been titled 2.0. Made on a massive budget of Rs 400 crores, the film has a huge dose of VFX effects throughout the movie. Shankar wanted enough time for the post-production work because of which the film’s release has been pushed to next year. Amy Jackson is the female lead and Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is essaying the lead antagonist in the movie.
The latest update says that the makers are in plans to release the theatrical trailer of the film on December 12th on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s birthday. The makers are in plans to release the audio in October in Dubai. For Diwali, the teaser of Akshay Kumar will be out and huge promotions for the movie are being planned. AR Rahman is composing the music and Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project. 2.0 has been aimed for January 26th release during the Republic Day weekend.
