Talented actor Suriya happened to be one of the finest actors of South Indian cinema. With an established market, all his movies get simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu languages. The actor pinned massive hopes on his next movie titled Singam 3 which has been under shoot for almost a year. Hari directed the movie which completed all the formalities. Anushka, Shruti Haasan are the female leads in the movie and Singam 3 has been aimed for December 23rd release.

As per the latest news, considering the current situations in Tamil Nadu the release date of Singam 3 has been pushed further. The currency crunch issue along with the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa and the recent cyclone Vardah worsened the situations across Tamil Nadu. Suriya now believes that December 23rd will not be the right time and he decided to postpone the release. A fresh date will be announced soon and Singam 3 is produced by 2D Entertainments banner.
