Rajinikanth’s next on Mumbai Slums

Superstar Rajinikanth worked with young and aspiring director PA Ranjith for the movie Kabali. Though the film received mixed response, Kabali managed to mint huge money at the box-office. V Creations produced the film and Radhika Apte played the female lead. Thrilled with the work of PA Ranjith, Rajini asked him to come with an impressive script to work once again. There are strong rumours that the film will be a sequel to Kabali.
However the interesting happening is that Rajinikanth has been impressed with the script narrated by Ranjith and he signed the movie. The film is all set to take place in Mumbai slums and it will convey a strong social message for the audience. Young actor Dhanush will roll the project on his Wunderbar Films. Ranjith is currently busy with the sets and he is in Mumbai finalizing the locations. Some of the massive sets of the Mumbai slums will be erected in Chennai for the shoot. The regular shoot of the movie will start later this year.
