Actor Sivakarthikeyan's next film, 'Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam', is all set to hit theatres on September 6. The movie has been U-certified and Sivakarthikeyan has been visiting many towns in south Tamil Nadu to promote the film. Is the Ethir Neechal star trying to win the hearts of the masses? “I can’t impress fans merely by visiting places down south. The film will help me reach mass audiences. And as far as 'Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam' is concerned, it’s relevant for audiences in all the centres. I am travelling to meet people, since the film was planned and finished well in advance,” he says.
Siva is ecstatic about having been able to work with veteran actor Sathyaraj. “The film features all the famous facets of Sathyaraj sir. You will find his lollu, villainous face and heroism. I was able to try my hand at comedy too along with him. The film is a mass entertainer and has given me ample scope to perform as a solo hero,” says Siva.
