Suriya supports Swach Bharat campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Swach Bharat campaign on October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanthi. Modi has nominated some of the celebrities as brand ambassadors for this Swach Bharat campaign which includes Sachin Tendulkar, Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Many celebrities have responded to this and expressed their intention to spread awareness on cleanliness. The latest addition includes actor Suriya who released a press note lending his support for Swach Bharat campaign.
Suriya stated that “Passing on wealth to children is important. Making them live clean is even more important. For Healthy India, let’s make a Clean India. Join and support Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachch Bharat Mission”. Suriya has always been the first one to respond for a social cause or public awareness. Suriya is currently busy shooting for Vikram Prabhu’s Masss and his recent flick Anjaan in the direction of Linguswamy ended as a disaster.
