Uttama Villan Movie Trimmed

Superstar Kamal Haasan’s latest flick Uttama Villan faced financial problems before the release of the film and the movie has been delayed. It has finally hit the screens last Saturday but the movie received mixed reviews from the audience. The word of mouth has been poor and the collections dipped immediately after the weekend. The movie is about the life of a superstar and the narration has been slow. The dragged second half tested the patience of the audience and hence the makers have decided to cut short the movie.
Uttama Villan has been trimmed by 20 minutes so that the movie becomes crispier and gripping. The movie has been directed by Ramesh Aravind and Kamal penned the script himself. Andrea and Pooja Kumar played the female leads in the movie. Ghibraan scored the music and background score for the movie. N Lingusamy and Kamal Haasan produced the movie on Thiruppathi Brothers, Raajkamal Films International banner. Kamal expressed his confidence that the movie will receive wide applause from the audience.
