Super talented Mani Ratnam failed to score a remarkable hit over the past few years. He is testing his luck with his latest movie titled Kaatru Veliyidai which is gearing up for release this Friday. Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari played the lead roles in the movie and is said to be a romantic entertainer. The songs and the trailer have been well accepted by the audience all over. The Telugu version of the movie has been titled Cheliya and the makers are promoting the film all over.

Mani Ratnam along with his team watched Kaatru Veliyidai and he asked his team to chop off seven minutes of the film. He even asked the Telugu makers to remove those episodes from the film and the runtime of Kaatru Veliyidai has been locked to be 2 hours and 20 minutes. Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies produced the movie and Kaatru Veliyidai is all set to hit the screens on April 7th all over. Kaatru Veliyidai has been carrying massive expectations and Dil Raju is producing Cheliya, the Telugu version of the film.
