Will Venky be a role model for Tollywood

Venky's recent flick Drishyam is a huge success at the box office and is continuing its steady theatrical run. As per the sources the film has been made on a limited budget of 5 crores and the final theatrical run is expected to cross 20 crores. The film’s satellite rights have already been sold out for a price of 5.5 crores.

Victory Venkatesh took the remunerations from the profits and this is a welcome move for the producers and other industry people. If every actor tries to work in this revenue model, most of the producers will be in profit zone. Even the producers should work on the budget limitations and Drishyam should be taken as inspiration for a profitless film industry.
