Akhil Akkineni made his debut as an actor with Akhil last year however he is busy with the pre-production work of his second movie which will start rolling from November. Vikram Kumar will direct the film and Annapurna Studios will bankroll the film. Akhil has been in love with Shreya Bhupal, the granddaughter of GVK Reddy, top businessman. This news created a huge stir all over however it was Nagarjuna who confirmed the news.

Now the latest update is that their wedding will take place during summer and the families are currently busy finalizing the venue. Akkinenis want the marriage to take place in Hyderabad however the wedding is being planned abroad. Sources say that Akhil will be hitched to Shreya through a destination wedding which will take place in Rome, Italy. The wedding is being planned with 600 guests and more details to be revealed soon.
