Actress Samantha turned quite choosy and preferred to stay away from work rather than signing routine commercial entertainers. She got to play a crucial role in the biopic of the legendary actress Savitri which will start rolling soon. The movie has been titled Mahanati and Keerthy Suresh will reprise the actress’s role. It is from Samantha’s perspective, the film will be narrated revealed sources. Nag Ashwin will direct the movie which is expected to start rolling soon.

 As per the latest news, Samantha will be seen playing a journalist in the film however she will be playing a reporter from those times. Samantha is said to have done enough homework for her role and the makers are currently busy finalizing the other crucial roles. It has been revealed that they have been unable to find an actor to reprise Gemini Ganesan on screen because of which the film has been kept on hold. Mickey J Mayor is composing the music for this social drama and Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies is all set to bankroll this big budget project.
