First Look: Manikarnika

Super talented director Krish stepped out with sensible films in his career. His last two outings Kanche and Gautamiputra Satakarni have been path-breaking and the director received wide applause from the audience as well as the critics. Gautamiputra Satakarni that released during Sankranthi this year ended up as the biggest hit in the careers of Balakrishna and Krish. The ace director took a small break and he is all set for his next movie which has been titled Manikarnika. The movie is all about the life story of warrior queen, Jhansi Laxmibhai. The movie’s script has been penned by V Vijayendra Prasad and the first look poster of the film has been out today.

Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut has been asked to play the lead role and the movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. This periodic drama took place in Varanasi and hence the makers released the first poster in Varanasi across the ghats of the holi Ganga. The entire movie unit attended the event during which Kangana Ranaut revealed the first poster of the movie. Zee Studios along with Kamal Jain is bankrolling this prestigious project which will start rolling soon. Shankar Ehsaan Loy is the music composer and Manikarnika is all set for release on April 27^th next year.
