Super talented filmmaker Sekhar Kammula who scored back to back hits in his career could not continue to repeat them. His recent outings ended up as debacles after which he decided to take a break. He is making his comeback with Fidaa which is said to be a pure love story. Varuntej and Sai Pallavi played the lead roles in the movie which completed shoot recently. Varuntej plays a NRI in the movie and Sai Pallavi will be essaying the role of a village girl based in Telangana.

The theatrical trailer of Fidaa has been out which showcases the flavour of Sekhar Kammula. The trailer has been completely pleasant and the locales have been beautiful. On the whole, Fidaa trailer promises a romantic treat for the audience. Shakthikanth Karthick composed the music for Fidaa and Dil Raju produced the film on his prestigious SVC banner. The movie is aimed for July 28th release. Varuntej pinned many hopes on the film as he has been tasting back to back failures.
