Stylish Star Allu Arjun pinned all his hopes on his film Duvvada Jagannadham which carried massive expectations. Harish Shankar directed the movie and Pooja Hegde essayed the female lead. Duvvada Jagannadham featured the other side of Allu Arjun as he essayed two different roles as a Brahmin cook and a stylish DJ. The songs and the trailed gained immense response and Duvvada Jagannadham released in over 1000 screens across the world on June 23rd. Duvvada Jagannadham received mixed response from the audience all over however it is Allu Arjun’s craze that carried the film.

Duvvada Jagannadham collected Rs 50.60 crores in its first week across the Telugu speaking states AP and Telangana. Duvvada Jagannadham has been declared as a debacle in USA and the collections in AP, Telangana dipped down after the long weekend.
