Superstar Mahesh Babu has been shattered after the debacle of Brahmotsavam after which he pinned all his hopes on his next movie titled Spyder. Super talented director AR Murugadoss is the director of the movie and Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead. She will be seen essaying the role of a medico on Spyder and her complete make over is a treat for audience. Mahesh will be seen in the role of an intelligence officer and his performance along with the looks are said to be the film’s major highlights.

Spyder has been planned on a massive budget of Rs 120 crores and is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. Mahesh is in plans to personally promote the Tamil version of Spyder and he will dub for his role. The movie is completely based on bio terrorism and SJ Suriyah will be seen as the main antagonist in the film. On the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s birthday, the second teaser of the film has been out.

The teaser packs a punch and keeps the expectations high. Spyder promises some shattering action episodes and has huge dose of VFX work throughout. The teaser crossed 10 million views in a day in all the released languages. This is huge for a South Indian film and Mahesh along with his team have been left delighted with the response the teaser has been getting. Harris Jayraj is the music composer of the movie and NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu in association with Reliance Entertainments are bankrolling the film. Spyder is all set for release on September 27th in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Spyder surprised everyone with the stunning pre-release business of Rs 180 crores and the digital rights along with the overseas rights fetched huge price. The movie will be dubbed into Malayalam and Hindi. Spyder showcases Mahesh in a completely new look.
