Mega Prince Varuntej made an impressive debut with Mukunda and his second movie Kanche ended up winning the hearts of the audience along with critical acclaim. Unfortunately, his next outings Loafer and Mister ended up as massive debacles and the actor is now quite cautious about his upcoming movies. Varuntej is currently shooting for Fidaa in the direction of Sekhar Kammula which is said to be a romantic entertainer. Sai Pallavi is the female lead and Dil Raju is producing Fidaa on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Varuntej will soon start shooting for his next in the direction of Venky Atluri.

The shoot of the film will be wrapped up this year after which he will start his next in the direction of Sankalp who made an impressive debut with Ghazi. The movie is said to be a science fiction and will be made on a massive budget. The movie will have huge dose of VFX effects and Varuntej recently gave his nod for the script. A top production house is said to produce the film and Varuntej pinned many hopes on the film. The regular shoot of this untitled project will start early next year and the movie will release during the end of 2018.
