Mahesh’s Aagadu Final Report

Superstar Mahesh and Srinu Vaitla have paired up after a super hit movie like Dhookudu and the combo film Aagadu has hit the screens last Friday. With lot of expectations, the movie has received the biggest openings for a Telugu film all over. The movie has been released in over 2000 screens and the movie witnessed packed houses all over the world. But due to some huge talk of word, the movie has lost the charm on day one itself. The movie managed to collect a handsome amount on the first day and the downfall started right from day two. The movie dropped badly by the end of weekend and the week days collections seemed quite terrible.

Some of the theatres have re screened Ravi Teja’s Power due to the lack of minimum collections. The movie managed to collected 19.49 crores in the first week of theatrical run in Andhra and Telangana which is a very bad figure for a Mahesh film. The movie has lacked content and it resembled the previous movies of Srinu Vaitla which is the main reason for the disaster. Even Mahesh could not manage to save the film to end as a average flick. The distributors have suffered huge losses and with Loukyam and Govindhudu Andarivadele lined up, Aagadu will add no more for the present figure as per the analysts. Aagadu has become the best example for Telugu Film Industry that the movie without content cannot win with stardom.
