AP Film Chamber Name to be Updated

Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) has been the main base for films in both the telugu speaking states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. After the separation of the state there were proposals to change the name and form separate Chambers for both the states. A general body meeting will be held today in Vijayawada which will discuss about the possibilities about the name change and then they will take the options available so that the names will be suitable.
As per the update, all the members are suggesting Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce so that it will be suitable for both the Telugu speaking states. However some of the members are opposing the name too. As there are protests from the Telangana Producers in Hyderabad, the committee has decided to conduct the meeting in Vijayawada. Some of the Telangana producers are opposing the name ‘Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce’. An official confirmation on this is to be arrived soon.
