Akhil’s Second Film Updates

Akkineni’s young scion and younger son of Akkineni Nagarjuna, Akhil Akkineni made his debut as an actor with Akhil. Sensational director VV Vinayak directed the movie and young actor Nithin produced the film. The movie released between huge expectations and it ended as the biggest debacle in Tollywood this year. The whole Akkineni family along with the fans have been deeply shocked and disappointed with the movie’s result. Nagarjuna and Akhil have been slowly recovering from the movie’s debacle and are listening to scripts.

Though they found nothing impressive, Nagarjuna wanted Trivikram Srinivas or Krish to direct Akhil’s second movie. But their current commitments may let Akhil to wait for more than an year and Nagarjuna has now been showing interest on Puri Jagannadh.  Nag and Akhil will watch Loafer in a special screening and will take a call on this. Puri Jagannadh who is known to wrap up films in quick succession is the best available choice to direct Akhil’s second film. Srinu Vaitla too has been initially considered but after the debacle of Bruce Lee, he has been kept out.
