Sardar Gabbar Singh Postponed?

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has taken special care on his upcoming project Sardar Gabbar Singh which was in pre-production for almost two years. Pawan himself penned the script and several writers have been brought on to the board to pen the screenplay along with the dialogues.

KS Ravindra (Bobby) is directing the movie which is being made on a massive budget. The movie’s shoot started in October last year and the movie is being made on a massive budget of Rs 50 crores. The shoot of the movie has been delayed for months as Pawan was balancing his film and political career.

Sardar Gabbar Singh has been initially slated for release during Sankranthi this year but the movie has been pushed ahead for summer release. Top distribution house Eros International acquired the theatrical rights of the film for a huge price of Rs 72 crores and they wanted the movie to release for summer.

Pawan allotted bulk dates and is shooting nonstop for the film and the makers announced that Sardar Gabbar Singh will hit the screens on April 8^th this year. However as per the latest news we hear, the movie has been pushed ahead to May as there is lot of shoot left pending. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine and Sarath Marar is producing Sardar Gabbar Singh on North Star Entertainments banner.
