Nandamuri Balakrishna wrapped up the shoot of his next upcoming movie Gautamiputra Satakarni which marks his 100th film as an actor. Krish directed this periodic drama and Shriya Saran played the female lead. Gautamiputra Satakarni is the costliest film in the career of Balakrishna and the movie has been slated for Sankranthi 2017 release. The movie is all about the Satavahana warrior Satakarni who ruled from Amaravathi.
The makers of the film approached both the Telugu speaking states for tax exemption as the movie reveals about one of the greatest warriors of the country. The whole movie unit thanked the Chief Ministers Chandra Babu Naidu and KCR for their support. Chiranthan Bhatt composed the music and Rajeev Reddy, Sai Babu Jagarlamudi produced Gautamiputra Satakarni which will release all over on January 12th during Sankranthi.
