Airlift First Weekend Collections

Talented actor Akshay Kumar came up with his recent film Airlift which released all over last weekend. Raja Krishna Menon directed the movie which has been based on a real life incident that happened in Kuwait during the Iraq – Kuwait civil war. Airlift is the biggest evacuation of Indians that happened in the history of the world and has been placed in The Guinness Book of World Records. Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur played the lead roles in Airlift which released in record number of screens across the world on January 22^nd.

The movie opened to 80% occupancy on day one and the film collected Rs 12.35 crores among the domestic circles. The movie received huge positive talk and the film collected Rs 14.60 crores. The movie picked up huge on Sunday by collecting Rs 17.35 crores. Airlift collected Rs 44.30 crores in the first three days among the domestic circles. Nikhil Advani, Monisha Adwani, Aruna Bhatia, Madhu G. Bhojwani, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra produced Airlift on Abundantia Entertainments, Cape of Good Films, Emmay Entertainments, Hari Om Entertainments and T-Series. Airlift is expected to mint huge money in its final run with the carried positive buzz.
